History
In 2007 David and Sharon sold their highly successful Ribs and Rumps operations, and went travelling,
During their worldwide travels and always keeping an eye on the hospitality industry wherever they went.
In Rome on a very hot day, they came across a street with about 6 or 7 restaurants on each side of.
One side was empty, and one side was full, they tried to work out why, then the penny dropped, the full side had, very poorly made plastic misting fans, which were cooling the customers, and the empty side not. Immediately they saw an opening.
Once they came back to Australia, they immediately left for China to find a manufacturer of a misting fan to Industrial standards. After traveling through China and factory to factory they eventually found what would become the 100% reliable and tough Tornado.
During these travels they happened to go to a heater factory which was just starting to develop Flame heaters. David immediately recognized the potential of these new and extraordinary heaters. After many samples traveled back and forth, finally and at great cost ASS standards were obtained and the FireStick was launched, this then expanded to the FireFountain and FireLamp.
When all area heaters were banned by the department of Fair Trading, David fought the prohibition notice and had NSW Fair Trading declare all Climate Australia’s heaters SAFE FOR USE
As climate Australia grew it added a range of home misting products, MistMate, Power misting systems, Evaporative coolers as well as other heating and cooling products.
